I was imagining what it would be like to stumble upon a deserted old ghost town and hear music playing but with no one around. That is how I came up with 'Ghost Town Hymn'. I imagined riding into town on a horse and seeing an abandoned church, walking into the church, seeing a dusty sort of light reflecting off of broken stained glass windows and hearing old church hymns being played.

I know I drove poor Aime crazy with this silly idea, but he humored me, all the way down to the twang of the banjo and clippity clop of what I thought the horse's hoofs would sound like...and to both our surprise, 'Ghost Town Hymn', contrary to a deserted ghost town, came to life.

As for the hymn inspirations, I drew from two of my favorite, 'Amazing Grace' and Bach's 'Sheep May Safely Graze'.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we had fun making it!
